Challenge
Redbox were challenged with creating both a site and related banner campaigns for Benadryl - to work with the brand's 'War' campaign reflected through imagery from the TV campaign.
Solution
Redbox delivered a site that illustrated how Benadryl responds to the growth in allergies over time, so that Benadryl would re¬main a key brand in sufferers' minds.
The banner concept, 'Eyes Interactive', was based upon a first person view through bloodshot eyes, to represent the view of a hay fever sufferer. This interactive idea is viewed through a field covered in pollen, to visually remind consumers of the problem. The solution then becomes evident, as the picture becomes clearer, with the user having been prompted to roll over and win the war against allergies. The end frame outlines the product message with a call to action that al¬lowed consumers to find out more on allergy advice at Benadryl.co.uk.
Result
The Benadryl site and campaign were extremely well received, and successfully highlighted Benadryl as the fast acting solution that allows sufferers to get outside and enjoy summer. Based on this success, Redbox are now working with Benadryl on the digital plans for next season.
